You must give accurate details and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. One person, one account.
You keep ownership of what you write. By posting it here you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it on this site, so that we can actually show it to other members.
Do not post anything unlawful, misleading, abusive, hateful or harassing; anything that infringes someone else's rights; spam, advertising or link farming; malware; or anyone's personal data without their consent. Do not use the forum to publish a client's confidential information or an employer's proprietary code.
We may hide, unpublish or remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules, and we will tell you why when we act on your content. We are not obliged to review everything posted, and we do not endorse the views of our members.
Course material and articles on this site are provided for learning. You may read and use them for your own study, but you may not republish or resell them.
The practice areas contain deliberately broken software. That is the point: they exist to be tested. Do not treat them as examples of correct implementation, and do not enter real personal data, real payment details or real credentials into them.
Passing our exam earns a certificate with a verifiable serial number. It records that you passed our exam on a date. It is not a professional licence or an accredited qualification, and it does not guarantee employment. We may revoke a certificate obtained by cheating or misrepresentation, and a revoked certificate says so on its verification page.
Contribution points and leaderboard positions are a community feature. They have no monetary value, cannot be transferred or exchanged, and may be recalculated or reweighted at any time. Points are removed along with content that is deleted or hidden.
Courses and testing services listed on this site are described for information. Any booking or engagement is a separate agreement between you and us, covering scope, fees, schedule, confidentiality and cancellation. Listed dates, fees and availability may change until that agreement is in place. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance.
Job listings come from a third-party provider. We do not verify, endorse or take responsibility for them, and we are not involved in any application or hiring decision. Check any employer and role yourself before applying or sharing personal information.
We aim to keep the site available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, including free ones, and may need to take the site down for maintenance.
The site and its content are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Nothing here is professional advice for your specific situation.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or loss arising from your reliance on site content, from third-party job listings, or from anything posted by another member. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
We may update these terms. The date on this page shows when the current version took effect, and continuing to use the site after that date means you accept it.
