How points work
Contribution points measure what you put into this community — what you write, answer, ask, and practise. They are counted automatically as you use the site; there is nothing to claim or submit. Points are separate from forum reputation. Reputation says how much the community trusts your answers; points say how much you have contributed overall, so a single downvote can never erase work you did elsewhere.

Where an action has a daily limit it is shown beside it. Equal scores are separated by accepted answers first, then by who joined earliest. Site admins are not ranked here to maintain the transparency. Weights are rebalanced from time to time, and every score is recalculated when they change, so the board stays comparable.
